Modded consoles in any form are a no-no on E-bay, period. I'll guarantee you it will get pulled. Probably have a better shot here in the buy/sell forum.

so it's a tore up SNES (cut out cart top) I'd ask about greening but.. I guess with the gaping cart hole it doesn't matter. Controllers 3rd party?. I'd just auction it starting at 9.99 with no pictures as I'll bet it's not "mint."

I thought only pirate stuff was not allowed. And no, there is no gaping hole, the tabs have just been cut. And its in "mint" condition(no discoloring or anything) with all original accessories.

In other words, you used a hacksaw to cut the posts out of the cartridge port. No offense, but that doesn't really increase the value (In fact, depending on the buyer, it might even decrease it)

I'd say it's probably worth about $25, give or take.

LOL How do you think Luigi feels?

I'm with Ze_ro on this one. However, you may be able to deceive someone who isn't familiar with the "hacksaw" mod, by dancing around such terminology... But, then I'd frown upon you.

While i know everyone here knows what an incredibly simple task it is to clip the plastic tabs on a SNES, i'm not lying in any way in the auction. I am not misleading, deceiving or wrongfully describing what this SNES can do. Some people do their homework and some dont. If someone were to ask how it plays both i would answer honesty and openly. If i was selling my A/V mod toploader, would i be lying by saying "Toploader with A/V"? No more than "SNES that plays U.S. and Japanese Games".

Yeah, sorry I used the "d" word... and the "f" word.

Actually my main SNES has a Super 8 on it.. Mint SNES, mint Super 8.. plays Sfami,fami,nes,snes..

Never did the snip mod on an SNES, though I did import SFII (one of the few games I ever have) I had a borrowed SNES that was trashed.

A friend gave it to me after he drank a bottle of Jack and woke up with it smashed to hell and dead. Well, it was dead because he ripped off the power plug part on the back of the SNES so I just hotwired it. So we played SFII import on a SNES with no top and a permenant Power Supply.

That SNES lasted until the infamous beer spill of 94..
