Hopefully this is just their idea of an April Fools Day joke... would certainly suck if it turns out to be true.

Seems like a joke to me...they removed all the copyrighted downloads after a C&D a couple years ago IIRC. Everything they had available for download was either freeware, or cleared by the company that originally made the game.
If it isn't a joke, it is a shame then.
