what are your current top five "desert island games"?
1. Ikaruga-GC I figure this game would help me reach the insane level much quicker than hunger or thirst @_@
2.GTA3-XBOX
3.Capcom vs. SNK-DC
4.Metroid-ZERO MISSION-GBA even though I dont even own it yet ;)
5.RE3:nemesis-DC I STILL play this game all the time for some strange unknown reason O_O
Please dont bother flaming stuff like "this post has been SO done before" etc cause flames like that are getting so very tiresome and I think we all expect more from this forum thankx

In no particular order:
Tony Hawk's Underground (Any system... hellllooooo park editor)
Pitfall II (And hopefully a working 5200 w/ Masterplay or Redemption converter so I can play that second adventure)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Arcade or Dreamcast)
Super Mario All-Stars (SNES)
Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition (GameCube)
I guess those last two are sort of cheating though.

I currently live on an island, but a desert island? So long as I have a PC and a ton of Coronas besides me, well, this would be my top 5 (in no particular order):

- Arcade Snake (put the game on a CD)
- Twin Cobra (MAME)
- Ms. Pac-Man (MAME, six maze version)
- San Francisco Rush (N64)
- Wipeout XL (Playstation)

And also, the island would have to be like Jack Sparrow's island from "Pirates of the Carribean," so when I run out of Coronas, I'll have a stockpile of rum to drink. Cheers!

Well, if we were on a desert island how would we power our televisions and game systems?

Anyways...

Legit List

1. Super Mario 64
2. Animal Crossing
3. Super Mario Bros.
4. Agressive Inline
5. Arkanoid

Cheating List

1. My Mame Disk 1
2. My Mame Disk 2
3. My disk with all the SNES & NES games on it and part 1 of the N64 games
4. My disk with all the Genesis games on it and part 2 of the N64 games
5. My disk with part 3 of the N64 games on it

and of course a modded Xbox. Why do I have so many emulated disks....work gets boring sometimes. :D

Oh, and this topic HAS been SO done before. You shouldn't come in here with such a bad attitude and assume people are going to flame the hell out of you. Anyways, here's a topic that has done this already CLICK HERE (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31073&highlight=).

My personal top 5 of the past 5 years or so:

1. Ms. Pac-Man (she rocks!)
2. Donkey Kong
3. Galaga
4. Defender
5. Robotron 2084

Obviously, these are pretty much part of the must-play that you'll find at any local arcade/pizza parlor/rollerskating rink. I'd include Pac-Man, but that'd be one too many, and besides, Ms. Pac-Man is better.

Here is my top 5:
Adventure Island
Adventure Island 2
Adventure Island 3
Super Adventure Island
Super Adventure Island II (The Best)

Haha. :)

4. Super Smash Bros. Melee - GCN
5. Goldeneye 007 - N64

On a related note, I've done up a top 100 personal favorite list, check it out if you want.

I'm going to be stuck on this island with other people, right? And I too want to be stuck on that rum-stashed island with Keith Richards. Add blonde, brunette, and redhead, mix, and party baby!

Anyway....

1 - Advance Wars 2 - We can pass the SP around with the bottle, and I've been creating some killer maps. New drinking games!

2 - Herzog Zwei - Might as well bring the other "greatest console strategy game" to the party, because, well, we need some killer music. And those girls will love a guy (like me) with his own Transformer.

3 - Tempest X3 - Any party should have TX3, which will probably send me reeling for the nearest toilet. Again. It's worth it.

4 - Super Bomberman 2 - Greatest multiplayer game, meet greatest drinking game. Keith Richards is bringing his guitar, right?

5 - Samba De Amigo - Last essential ingredient: maraccas. We'll even forgive having to put up with Ricky Martin songs.

Super Punch-Out
Dead Or Alive 3
Tempest 2000
MVP Baseball 2004 (been playing it a lot and it does have Dynasty Mode which I think is for 120 seasons...
Super Metroid

Bionic Commando (NES)
The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time (N64)
Final Fantasy VII (PSone)
The Typing of the Dead (DC)
Tenchu (PSone)

And, if I could smuggle two more in my ass, they would be...

Lunar - Silver Star Story Complete
Lunar 2 - Eternal Blue Complete

...Even though a couple of GameBoy games would be easier and less painful.
