What heresy is this? My Apple II cost me nearly six grand, but it's so much better than that trashy IBM PC.

Apple = Bogus. Great monochrome screen. No sound (except for boops and clicks). It sucks.

IBM = Also bogus. Color screen (about 12 colors). And no sound to speak of again.

Commodore 64 = Radical. Great graphics and color, SID chip sound, just a better over all computer. They will rule the market for many, many years, while IBM and Apple are doomed to obscurity or only business applications.

(SIDE NOTE: I actually did make this prediction in 1983 in a school computer programming class. :eek 2: )

Dudes! My Apple ][+ ROCKS! I just got the 64K upgrade for it, and with the Kraft self centering joystick, I can play tons of games I've copied from my friends! Although one of my friends just got an Apple ///, but we can't trade games with it... BUMMER! Also, I heard that Apple just came out with a new business computer that's supposed to be WAY cool! It's called the LISA, (what kinda stupid name is that for a computer?) and it's supposed to be the wave of the future! But at $10,000, I can wait a little bit!

VIC-20 all the way for me, baby. Once you play this, you'll forget all about your wimpy game systems. Just compare Gorf or Omega Race to their 2600 or ColecoVision counterparts. In fact, don't bother, because there IS no comparison.

Well I'm sticking with my TI-994/A. I've just spent $1000 on a PEB and accessories. Also Bill Cosby endorses the TI. You just can't go wrong. I imagine TI will dominate the home computer market for decades.
