its like i come here to see if theres anything new goin on that i dont know about in the gaming world.. and all i get is news from 1983.. the whole acting like its 1983 and posting 1983 news and questions just seems retarded as hell... just my opinion..

Actually....I think it's really really cool! I haven't had this much fun on these BODACIOUS boards in like, forever, dude!

Also...I remember Joe mentioning he had "plans" for the board that will increase the post count "tenfold". This may be it. This also may be the beginning. I won't be surprised to see this last for a week or more, also I wouldn't be surprised to come in tommorow and see another year up...possibly 1992...but then again I may just be thinking too much into it and this may just be a April Fools only thing. When you think about it it's not really a good April Fool's JOKE, but it's a good April Fools celebration.

its like going into a forum.. and everyone is trying to pull an april fools joke on u.. by making posts that make you think they've really found a game or a computer.. then you click it to find out you've been fooled by their 1983 antics lol..

i'm not tryin to rain on anybody's parade, its just that i cant tell which posts are the fake 83 ones or which ones are about up to date games... so i go through about 20 posts about C64 and Atari before finding a true 2004 post..

lol i'll find a way to cope.. IMO there should be like... all the normal divisions of the forum, then an 83 division... doubt that will happen, but anywayz.. its 11 PM here and i'm tired.. BYE!

If it were up to me, I'd do this all week. I haven't enjoyed the forums this much in a long, long time. I suspect that my posts have gotten a lot more fun to read than they've been in a long time, too... as you can see, I had a lot less to bitch about in 1983 than I do now, twenty years later.

Personally I think these threads have been super cool myself. Without a doubt 1983 was the greatest year ever for video games in my opinion. It was also one of the, if not the best year of my life. Keep the memories coming!
