what do you think? Personally, I think it's.... odd. The company will probably die in a year anyways

Bite your tounge! The Game and Watch is a hot item at my school... everyone wants to have one. I've got Donkey Kong II myself... it's a spin-off of the Donkey Kong Jr. arcade game. Obviously, it doesn't look as nice, but the graphics are still pretty good, and it's a lot of fun to play. I really, really like the little keypad on the bottom of the Game + Watch, too. It's ten times more responsive than any of the crummy Atari and Coleco joysticks I have at home. I'd love to see a game system with controllers like this.

Since it's been April 2nd for the past 23 minutes in Florida I'm going to post seriously...
I have a Zelda wrist watch game- and I use that term extremely loosely- and it sort of sucks. Then again when I was a kid I couldn't make heads or tails of those Tiger electronic games. Anyway... is the actual Game n' Watch unit any better? Because that thing looks pretty sweet with it's packaging and everything.

Sigh... it IS April 2nd now, isn't it? All right, I'll start posting seriously now.
Yeah, the Game & Watches are a bit more advanced than that Zelda watch you purchased, although you must understand that they're not what you'd call cutting edge technology by today's standards. The sound consists of clicks and beeps. The characters jump from position to position. The gameplay is fairly simplistic, especially in the early games like Manhole. Nevertheless, they were pretty cool for the time, and hold up fairly well today.
If you want to experience the Game & Watch firsthand, I'd recommend picking up Game & Watch Gallery 4 for the Game Boy Advance, or one of the keychains they sell at K-Mart and Meijer... they're the same games, albeit with a smaller screen. There are also simulators- not quite emulators, but close enough- on the Internet if you know where to look. Type "Madrigal Handheld Game" at the Google search engine prompt and you'll find a site full of them.

I donīt like G&W so much, only a few ones, like Popeye or the Crystal screen ones...these are great items!!!, also here in my country the cost of them is very expensive, and i couldnīt understand why, because there are a lot of G&W collectors...
