New LE Green Xbox Bundle with Halo!

Apparently, this new Halo bundle will be translucent green, much like the LE launch Xbox, LE Euro Xbox, or that nifty one I scored a month ago (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30483&highlight=xbox)--but it will have a Halo logo on it above the fourth controller port--similar to the LE launch system. There's also a Halo 2 preview DVD included.

Alright, thanks to input from the fine folks below, and some confirmation from other retailers, this thing is indeed for real.

i think its real, they already had released a clear green xbox anyways, all there doing is re-releasing it with halo

Well, it says product not available already. Either it sold out already, or it was an april fools joke, or they weren't supposed to start preorders yet.

I kinda wanted to get one too, to use as my xbox live xbox.

I ordered it, it let me, then I cancelled, after realizing I can't transfer my pso stuff, doa stuff, kotor etc. I know I can have both but I wanted to sell my first box to pay for the second:)

IT IS TRUE. I am getting one of these as a contest prize for being a finalist in the "If you were to rule the gaming world" contest. As for the Xbox being just green like the others, it isnt. It will have the Halo logo on the top of the system and on the controller in lieu of the xbox logo.

It's no hoax, because I just ordered one off EB's web site. Ships out on the 16th. It's about freaking time we got one of these cool limited edition consoles released in North America. Those Europeans and Japanese get all the cool consoles...

I cannot wait to get one of these. I already own one X-Box (also going after the dew one). Next time I am at Gamestop, I am going to see if I can pre-order one. Does anybody know if they are exclusive to one retail chain?

I just went out and pre-ordered mine at EB. they said they were taking pre-orders for twenty, even though harware pre-orders are usually fifty dollars.

That week is gonna be awesome. Kill Bill V. 1 on DVD, Kill Bill and the Puinisher (Not as awesome) come out in theaters, and the Halo X-Box. Sweetness!

You need 550 points, and hope that there's some still in stock.

Unless you have a scam way to get the points for free, it's a total rip off. Think about it - each "cap" is worth ONE POINT!!

Your average price for a bottle is at least a dollar. That's $550 plus. You're better off going to eBay.

Another example - if you bought a 6 pack of bottles for $3, for example, you would get SIZ POINTS for $3. That makes each point cost $.50.

Under this example, it would cost you about $275 to get enough points for the limited edition XBOX.

Under that scenario, it makes a little more sense.

its not too hard to get enough points....just ask everyone you know to help you out....thats what I did, and as you can see in my signature...i got all the points i need and i did it in less than a month.

as for the clear green xbox halo bundle, ill skip this one since i have a regular black one and as soon as you can order the mountain dew green ones, i will have one of those too. i cant really see getting a third xbox

I think I'm gonna go preorder one tomorrow.

Since I got my xbocks modded, it now won't read CvS2 for some reason.

Also it's kind of a hassle to play on live, since to ftp you need to set it to static ip, and to play on live you can't have a static ip.
