Brand New X-Box at Wal-Mart for $129.99
I took a Fry's (Dallas) ad into Wal-Mart for a pricematch which showed a "refurbished" X-box for $89.99. I figured since I live in the sticks know one would know what "refurbished" was, and I was right. Only problem was it was a Friday 1-day only price. As today was Saturday I was a day late I thought. Luckily the the ad said regular price $129.99 and I got it for that. Stupid Wal-Mart  Almost had it for $89.99 but I was still happy.

I found a loose copy of Qix for Gameboy for $2.00. Normally I would say "So what?" except that it has a different label than every other copy that I have ever seen. It has what appears to be Japanese writing on it so I guess its just an import copy, but still cool I thought. :)

I'm attempting to hlep my friend keep his job as assistant manager at Gamecrazy. He's very knowledgeable, but he has horrible sales marks (he hates to lie to people), so his job's in jeopardy. I went in to buy some stuff from him and got....
Einhander (PSX, Complete, M/NM) - $11.00 (needed for my "the complete U.S. Square" collection...how's the price? I really had no idea what it should be)
Killer Instinct (SNES, crappy loose copy) - $1.99
and threw down a reserve for the PS2 version of "Megaman Anniversary Collection" which I'll probably end up cancelling. Thus, he got a 2/1 sale and a reserve, so that should help his numbers. I feel bad that I couldn't buy an MVP from him, but it's just such a horrible deal.

I have a great find story. I started early on Sat. I went to a community sale. I was one of the first ones there. I found a perfect mint NES for $15. I then went to two flea markets. Nothing at the first to speak about. BUT the second one. I walked up to a table with a couple of 2600's on them (one was a heavy sixer Sears model). I asked what he wanted he showed me a whole group of mint joysticks and paddles 25+ some with grabber balls and the big bases that the joysticks fit into. Some were new in the boxes. I got this for $20.
THEN at the very last table. I looked behind this guys table and I saw a whole box of Mint Complete and New Atari 2600 games (28). There was a complete Fathom, Trick Shot, and 8 complete Sears games. I think I was drooling. I asked the guy how much and he said $0.50 each. I said how much for all of them. I can not tell you the look of suprise on his face. He was soo happy that someone wanted to take all of this junk off his hands. He counted them up 28 games. He said give me $11. I SAID OK
That was just some of my finds this weekend. I will try to upload some pics later. Also found a Game and watch!! I usually never find those>
Great weekend. I hope every one had great finds too

I stopped by my local swap meet this weekend and picked up a few nice games.....
Legend of zelda (nes) It had half of the factory seal on it and the map and book inside look as if they have never been opened...
Contra (nes) complete and mint
Star Wars (nes) complete and near mint
Bubble Bobble (nes) loose
Power Stone (DC) Mint
And a few Genesis games MIB.
I spent around 35 for all of that. Probably could have talked down the nes stuff a little, but I was drooling at the condition of Zelda too much

Not really finds, but I stopped by Gamestop on Sunday and picked up the following:
Megaman Zero 2 (GBA) $19.99
R-Type III (GBA) $19.99
Just to let you GBA collectors know that Gamestop has dropped the $29..99 price to $19.99 on a lot of games. Typically this means they won't get any more stock in those games. In addition to the above games, they also marked down Double Dragon, Megaman & Bass, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and Megaman Zero.
