They're arranged from lowest serial number (top left) to highest (bottom right)... in that order going across...

Strange thing is, I've not actually seen any of the mono English titles in this country. All the ones I have are the Japanese versions. And after today hopefully when I'm picking up 4 Japanese NGPC colour titles from a mate, I'll need just 3 then to complete the Japanese side bar pachinko and mah-jong games :)
And two of them are available from Telegames.co.uk, though I'm debating whether I want to pay £50 each for them...

PAL? WTF? These things can run on a TV? Is there any plans out there for a Neo Geo Pocket mod for this? I didn't know european NGPCs were PAL machines...

They're not, all NGPC games are universal. For 'PAL', read 'European clamshell versions'.
