Not a great brag in terms of cash spent, but I'm happy with it. $145 for 5 games ($29 each):

Meteoric Shower (Bit Corp label)
Escape from Mindmaster
Fall Guy
M*A*S*H
Video Hustler

Asumming that CV means Coleco Vision....I'm not very up on that system but 29.00 a game is a DAMN lot of money for them.

Are they rare? Sealed? pics? I need a little more info to understand what makes them worth 29.00 each.

Pretty damn nice, they're each worth WELL over $29.00 each, that's for sure. Even loose in ok condition :)
Congrats!

Congrats!

your statement is a little misleading.

if they are all original, then that would be a hell of a deal.

unfortunetely, what is not stated is that those are probably all copies from Adam's House or someone else.
The Meteoric Shower *might* be real... but if it was sold in a lot with those other 4 games and they are repros, then I would highly doubt that also.

The way to tell is to see the labels on all the games *except* metoric shower.
I can tell you 99.9% if they are repro's from the labels alone.

Then if they are repros, compare the circuit board and its connectors on the repros to the meteoric showers.
if they look similar or identical, then meteoric shower is a reproduction.

There are actually A LOT of reproduction meteoric showers out there, and same with those protos.

I can provide examples of that real ones look like if necessary.

(The scan is about 140kb). I'm guessing they're reproductions. But since I rarely ever come across them in any cart form whatsoever, I felt I should jump and grab them. Yep, the price is a tad high, but I can live with it.

They look like repros to me. Seems high to me, but im not a CV guy.

VIDEO HUSTLER = BEST NAME FOR A POOL GAME EVER!

they are most definetely repros...
dont feel too bad though, sean kelly paid like $ 150 for an escape from the mindmaster JUST like that one a couple years ago.
he was pissed to find out it was a repro.

any cart that has a CBS label and comes in a standard US case is a tip off something isnt right.
while that isnt a 100% accurate way of telling, it alone is pretty accurate.

meteoric shower didnt come in a standard colecovision casing- it came in a slightly unique bit corp case.

so my deduction is that they are all repros, although i cant be 100% sure on the MS without actually seeing more of it.

youd definetely be able to get your money back on all of those though- people seem to like to collect those a fair bit.
you could probably trade them all for a multicart sometime

OK, Admittedly I just assumed they weren't repro's. I always pretend repro's and homebrews don't exist simply because I have no interest in them :)

My life story! Finally vindicated! LOL

On the topic though...man, sorry about that. :/

Am I nuts, or is Escape from the Mindmaster anything like an Odyssey^2 game?
