I'm selling the rare Famicom to NES converter. You can purchase one on my current eBay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3088426817&category=41045&sspagename=STRK%3AMESSE%3AIT&rd=1, or you can email me at immutable@netzero.net if you have any questions. :)

Ok, obviously the auctions are old and down. However, I have one for sale. These rarities are officially made by Nintendo so your Famicom games will work with them. Any Offers? PM me.

Are you interested in trades? I'm interested in getting one of these but I'm not going to pay a mint for it.

I would be willing to trade for certain famicom multicarts.

Well the whole reason that I want it is to play my famicom multicart....
OK how much do you want for the thing? Make me a deal and I'll buy one from you this weekend.

Sorry to intrude your topic. But how can you tell if a coverter is official or not. Cuz I have three.

I assume that they are the ones that you find in early-run US NES games like gyromite and excitebike. Therefore they would be official Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

Can anyone confirm if there is anything written on them? If so, what does it say on em.

That one says:
NES-JOINT-01
c.1985 Nintendo
If yours looks like the one in the picture, chances are that it is a real one.

The typical converter costs $20-$25 dollars, so I'll sell this one for $20 and $2 for shipping if you live in the US. And I do have the very item you see above. :)

Well that's just what you were selling them for on eBay and obviously you still have leftovers from that so I don't realy think that's much of a deal. Thank's anyway though.
EDIT: I hope that doesnt come off like me sounding like a jerk. It's just that when I said "make me a deal" I was hoping you would undercut your asking eBay price since you didnt sell them all in that auction. It's all good, man, I'll just keep looking in old excitebike and gyromite carts.

No offense taken, but you make a good point. How does $10 sound?
