I've been on spring break since April first, and I'm in Jamestown(e)/Williamsburg, Virginia. This is the second trip I've gone on with a gaming system -- both times I've taken my Sega Nomad and some other stuff.
My question to you is - when you go on vacation, what do ya take along in terms of gaming supplies?
Here's what I've got:
Nomad
Wall adapter
AV cables for it (though I haven't used the cables)
Sony headphones
Shadow Dancer
Revenge of Shinobi
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
Sonic 2 (probably will leave this one alone)
Phantasy Star 2 (might turn that on for a while)

GBA SP and 2 or 3 games.
Small, long battery life, and backlit. No need for other accessories. :)

I bought SHADOW DANCER the other day. Saw SHINOBI and got all giddy like a little school girl or something.

AAAAAAH! NOOOO! THE HORROR!
*remembers his own Spring Break to the same places last year*
Anyways, I bring my GBASP with 5 games and my GCN with 8-16 games and a portable screen :)

When my family took vacations me and my bro always brought a system with us. Usually the snes. Now when I go on trips where I'll have lots of spare time I take my GameAxe and a couple nes games.

I usually pack a Turbo Express, Sega Nomad, and GBA SP, with around 5 or so games for each system.

My vacation arsenal usually consists of:
Atari Lynx - and the whole library I've got for it (25 or so).
Jakks Pacific 10-in-1 Atari joystick.
GBA w/composite monitor adapter to use as a monitor for the Jakks stick.
This upcoming Easter weekend, however, the family we'll be travelling to California and I figured I'd alternate things a bit. So this time we'll give the Lynx a rest and take the Game Gear since my son is into Sonic right now. We'll also take the Dreamcast since the in-laws all seemed to enjoy Soul Calibur so much last Thanksgiving.

Any more I just take my laptop and load it up with emulators and roms before I leave. I used to mainly play NES/SNES/Genesis games only, but I now keep a couple of PSX ISO's on here at all times (Tony Hawk 2 and 3 at the moment).

I don't really go on vacations. I just go back and forth across the US whenever I get the chance to spend some time with my family. I try to stay as long as possible, so it's usually a pretty lengthy amount of time (at least a full month). I mostly just take games because I got a NES, SNES, and N64 at both places. I think I forgot to take a N64 controller with me one time. >_< I've also once took GBA games and an AC adapter, but I forgot the actual GBA itself... I still have a fair amount of games sitting at my mom's house, so I only take what I REALLY want to play. Since I can't live without Star Ocean (and there's no PSX or PS2 to play Star Ocean 2 or 3), I always take my Super Famicom Star Ocean cart and Star Ocean: Blue Sphere (and a Game Boy Color because it looks like crap on GBA). Usually buy and play more Super Famicom imports when I'm with my family. If and when I run out of games to play that interest me, they're a good choice to go with, and since I don't have such a wide selection of games and systems to choose from then, I tend to just play my favorite system, Super Nintendo/Super Famicom.

I take 2 cups with the bottoms joined together by a piece of string, dice, and a super ball.

All I need is my GBA and whatever games i'm currently playing, and I'll be just fine. You can almost count on there being a Mega Man and a Castlevania game in there somewhere.

Ha! This reminds me of that letter some college student wrote to Nintendo Power a while back about his spring break. While all of his buddies were out partying and getting laid, this guy was in the hotel room playing his Gameboy the whole time. Nintendo's response was something like "You're out on spring break...put the gameboy down and have some fun outdoors!" I think Seanbaby even zinged it on his site too. LOL

I just went to japan(which was awesome!), and i had two 10 hour plane flights. So i had a portable dvd player, and a gameboy color.
On car trips i take my portable dvd player, and my xbox. Plug thoes suckers in and BAM! instant entertainment. I also have a Game Gear that i lug around every now and then.

Thanks to a trade with Lintmunkey, I got a GBA SP last week. I can't wait for the weekend of the 16-19 because I'm going to Martinville Va. to take in the NASCAR race (if any other DP'ers are going, PM me) We'll be staying in a "chalet" on the blue ridge parkway. Needless to say when it gets dark there isn't much to do and I'm not sure how reliable the cable service is. I think I'm also gonna take my dreamcast.

I generally bring my GBA with a few games. However, I am not going to bring anything this spring break because we just got a black car which gets way to hot, and I would be concerned about my system. I will probably bring some gaming mags though for the car ride.... Plus there are plenty of arcades in vegas

Last year, when I went to Anaheim with my family for a family reunion/Disneyland trip (a great aunt of mine, who was hosting the reunion at her place, lives in Garden Grove) my brother bought along his N64 and hooked it up in the hotel room. I might do that with my SNES or my new N64 someday.
As for the road, I always make sure to have a Walkman and some CDs, so that keeps me occupied there. Just sit back, look out the window, and listen to rock... :)
But a GBA SP would be nice... I have got to get one someday.

*Bling* Oops, Helo!.....shibichabaxbox :D Thank heavens I'm not the only one. That way I can take nearly my entire video game wardrobe with me and never even have to change discs. I might bring my SP just incase but I usually don't get to touch it. :D
