Halo $19.99 at Best Buy

I finally did it!! I took the plunge and bought Halo (I know it took me so long)!!! Best Buy has Halo for $19.99--I was there returning something and saw Halo was on sale, and I couldn't pass it up!! This is a heads up for all you Halo-less Xboxers out there GO GET IT NOW!!!! :D

yeah, i noticed that also, and circuit city has it 19.99 as well........ almost 3 years it took for that price to reach under 20 bucks.

I know, crazy huh? It is still one of their best sellers (for obvious reasons)! I guess they had no reason to lower it previously, since it sells so well. I am stoked I finally have it, and I will be playing it very shortly--this week for sure!
I have bought so many new gtames for so many systems lately, I will have to slow down on the buying, and pick up on the playing!!! If I would just stop finding all these good deals all the time!! LOL :D

That would be my guess also. I forgot about that bundle coming out. I sure would like to get my hands on one of those LE Xboxes--my wife would kill me though!!! She doesn't understand my obsession with videogames/systems, she thinks I am wasting tons of money--LOL!! :roll:

Yeah, looks like I'll finally give it a go, but I just have a hard time with console FPS and the analog sticks, especially coming from the PC world mouse/keyboard combo

If I'd only known about this a week earlier...I bought myself an XBox last Thursday or Friday and bought Halo at the same time...for $29.98 or so. Ah well, it's only $10 and I will more than make it up when I bargain hunt for other games...

Well, I can't completely comment on this yet, cause I just bought the game, but I do have the demo of it, that I played a bunch of times, just the feel of it is special--the eye candy, the strategy, the open areas to explore are just cool! Even the attention to detail, like looking down at the grass you are standing on is incredible! Like I said, I only *had the demo, but I will better be able to comment on it once I've played it through and through.

I like the use of the vehicles, and the feeling that you really were in a futuristic alien war. it just felt like a scifi war movie. Plus the multiplayer is the best one I've ever played on a console.
