Once again I have been called to arms. It seems that the folks at Sony have heard of my impressive feats and judicious foresight.
They sent forth the following request.......

Subject: Invitation to EverQuest Online Adventures Beta phase II
Greetings,
The EverQuest Online Adventures team is excited to inform you that we have reviewed your application and would like to invite you to participate in Beta phase II.
If you were part of Beta phase I, thank you for your help. It was tremendously successful. For those of you joining us for the first time, welcome. Please be aware that the discs from Beta phase I will no longer function after Beta phase II begins.
To complete the acceptance process for the Beta phase II we will need one last bit of information from you. We need you to report the console number found on the back of your PlayStation[R]2 computer entertainment system. The console number is located under a barcode. If you have a Network Adaptor (for PlayStation[R] 2), you may need to remove it in order to read the console number. Look for the bar code label. The console number is 11 digits long and starts with "PT". You only need to submit the 9 digits that follow "PT".

Shortly after you have properly completed this step you will receive an email containing more information about Beta phase II; when to expect the DVDs, how to access the message boards, etc.

Why was I not called in sooner? Had I been called in for phase one there might very well be no need for a phase two?
