Seeing there's no topic on this yet, here we go:

Wipeout Fusion (PS2) $6.97
Midway's Arcade Greatest Hits (GBA) $9.99

both at Circuit City

Megaman & Bass (GBA) $19.99
Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) $19.99

both new at Gamestop. Also picked up Sword of Mana strategy guide for a penny. Thanks for the heads up Achika! :D

just to let you GBA collectors know, Gamestop has lowere a lot of their $29.99 games to $19.99. Usually this means they won't be getting anymore in stock and are clearing shelf space. In addition to the above games, they also marked down Double Dragon, R-Type III, Megaman Zero 2 and Megaman Zero.

Decided to check out blockbuster after reading the thread about it.

NES
Ghoul School - ci - $2.99
Dragon Warrior II - c - $2.99
Rad Racer II - c - free
Zen Intergalactic Ninja - ci - $2.99
Battle of Olympus - ci - $2.99
The Immortal - ci - free
job offer - free!

I was very impressed with the condition of the games offered at Blockbuster. I have some blockbuster PVTs with horrible blockbuster stickers all over them. Most of the games today had two, easily removable stickers on them.

Battle of Olympus put me over 100 NES games. Whoohoo

Stopped by the thrft stores today.

Playstation:
Syphon Filter 2 complete and in great condition - $4
Silent Bomber complete and in awsome condition - $3 <-- R5+ !!

I got these a few days ago at the salvation army:

PC:
Lesiure Suit Larry 5 complete - $0.50
Heart of China complete - $0.50

The funny thing is that at the same time that I bought the PC games I also bought a complete retail copy of MacOS 9.0 for $5.00. The cashier was suprised at how cheap Lesiure Suit Larry was but didnt realize that the copy of MacOS was the real deal there. I put it up on eBay for $75.00 BIN and someone snatched it up within a few hours. I also found an alladin thermos there with Super Mario Bros. 2 and Zelda 2 on it for $1.

I grabbed what I thought was a very well-conditioned complete Sky Skipper 2600, but it contained about 13 different manuals, incl Sky Skipper, DK, and Q*Bert. Not bad for a couple of dollars. Now to the real find...

Goodwill hunting-$4.99 NES Top-Loader, in new-looking box no less, with the styrofoam, power supply, rf mod, and 1 regular controller :( This is my second, the first one pd $35 at Funcoland, but still not too bad. The loose one is going up for trade-bait.

Also found 2 dark brown Atari 2600 Cases & 1 "orange" or "rust" case. Pd $2/ea, but did so because I got a ton of instruction manuals tossed in for free, along w/ Wizard of Wor box/inst/no cart.

SaGa inst all that, but its not a bad find, Threads of fate is the same thing.. The Klonoa is the good pickup. Thats worth most of the 35 (if not 35 right there) , though eBay may say even more.

Ah ha! My friend the gamecrazy manager strikes again! He called me up and told me to meet him at the store. Waiting for me he had (after his manager's discount :D) ....

SoulBlazer (SNES, Loose) - $12
Y's III: Wanderers From Y's (SNES, Loose) - $4
Big Wario Ware Mega Micro Games Poster - free

...so I went ahead and picked those up for the collection. Also, I recently managed to break said friend of the idea that "2D graphics = crap" (give him a break, his first major console was a PSX), so he's starting his own SNES collection now. I had him pick up (for his collection)....

Illusion of Gaia (SNES, Loose) - $8
Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES, Loose) - $8
Breath of Fire (SNES, Loose) - $12

...that should give him a good start on his new SNES collection.

Hmm .. I woulda passed up on the House of the Dead box set, even at £32 ... Gamestation, right?

Anyway, today I am celebrating a small victory ... finding a bargain at CEX!!!

Corpse Killer 32X CD (PAL) - £5 (and yes, it is a lot rarer than the NTSC version!!!)
Virtua Fighter Remix (PAL Saturn, complete with big outer cardboard box) - £4

I always like it when I can score something at CEX because they are generally so ludicrously overpriced. I mean, they are trying to sell boxed Mega Jet consoles for £150 x_x

Buffoons.

And they offered me £8 cash / £12 trade in for Metal Slug on the Saturn. I laughed in their face, went home, and sold it on ebay for £55.

Being a good customer and since my local indy store is closing in the next couple of weeks, I was told that they were going to be putting out the last of the store demo games soon. (They use to keep copies of all the games that they got in, for the owner or whatever). Well the Last box of stuff was held off until i was abel to go through it and pull stuff that i wanted.

Bangai-o (DC)
Record Of Lodos War (DC)

Hmm, guess it's still the week. (Got another day to go before we can put up a weekend finds thread!)

I found a boxed Jurassic Park (Genesis, no manual, hanger intact and not even bent, everything that comes with it is in great shape) and a boxed (???) Street Fighter II Special Champion Edition, the wierdest boxed game I've EVER found as it comes in the case, no manual, but the clear plastic window has been torn off and the insert's gone. I can tell it's the original case due to the "Capcom" molded into the inside. Strange though.

I also found one of these:

http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Fortress/6223/ptfllhh.jpg

I also forgot to mention that on my trip I picked up a (crappy) G.I. Joe comic book (wanted to see what it's like now...err) and a Maximo comic. Rather neat, I think that was for the second game but I'm not sure.
