any way to figure the rough value of euro SMS games, found in the US? went to one of my local game shops and the guy showed me a large box of boxed euro SMS games he had for sale. he pretty much uses online sources or ebay to fix prices, so his prices are more less fair. he didnt know much about them and i'm looking for a good list to know what to offer him. wish i could recall more titles, there were lots of genesis era titles, several sonics, lucky dime and so on...

thanks in advance

Euro SMS games are an odd one to value. With a few exceptions, they're all pretty common in the UK, which (through ePay) makes them pretty cheap here too. Outside of titles like Outrun 3D, the French Smurfs game, and the Brazilian Tec Toy releases, just about any Euro SMS game can be had on ePay for about 3.50 pounds *shipped* (which translates to a little less than $7 US.)

Unless one of the afforementioned rares is in there, I wouldn't go more than $5 a pop, even if they're in excellent condition. Your call though - depends how much you want them. Good for your collection, not such a great move for resale (unless they're like a buck each.)

3 1/2 GBP shipped?! that's typically what I pay for shipping on 1 game (air mail)

Still, all but the rarer titles cost me approx. $10 shipped each.

While the majority can be had dirt-cheap, there's a fair few that will sell for more than that - Home Alone, Championship Hockey, Daffy Duck in Hollywood, Masters of Combat, Cheese Catastrophe, Asterix & the Great Rescue, Robocop 3, either of the T2 games and a few of the 3D games will all go for £10+, often a fair bit more.
Still much cheaper than a lot of other systems though :)

Just curious...
But where do you get those games so cheap?
Is there any UK online store that ships to Portugal and has SMS games so cheap?

regards!

Most stores will try to gouge you on them, but eBay.co.uk is the place to look. The majority of sellers will ship internationally.
