I had been missing the March 1996 issue for quite some time. That was the last issue that I needed to get my hands on. Now I have the complete set of Next Generation magazines.
This really wasn't that hard of a magazine to collect for, considering they started in 1995 and I had about half of the "early years" issues anyways. But still, it's nice to have a complete collection.
Actually I have to admit that my collection isn't absolutely 100 percent complete. I don't have the issue that has the Zelda N64 Cart on the cover. This was an issue that was given free to people at the 1997 e3 show. It wasn't a issue that subscirbers would get, or one that would be on news stands. What sucks is I could have bought this issue on Ebay almost a year ago for not to ridiculously high of a price, but I figured I would get it later at some point down the road.
But it's been very hard to find since.
But that particular issue isn't one of the normal issues so I don't worry about not having it. At some point I probably will still get it, but I still feel like I have a really nice collection of Next Generations right now.
If anybody is trying to have a collection of Next-Generation magazine and they are missing issues, I do have some extra issues that are available for trade.
Here they are:
NEXT - GENERATION
1. MARCH 1995 - Issue # 3 - Other than some minor blemishes, this would be considered near mint. 113 pages.
2. SEPTEMBER 1996 - Issue # 21 - This issue is basically mint. Just about mint. 177 pages.
3. NOVEMBER 1996 - Issue # 23 - This issue is HUGE! Other than some minor blemishes, this would be considered near mint. 297 pages.
4. FEBRUARY 1998 - Issue # 38 - Other than some minor blemishes, this issue is near mint. Back cover does have a fold in the lower left corner though. 133 pages.
5. MARCH 1998 - Issue # 39 - Some slight residue from where a address label was removed. Other than that, this mag is mint. 129 pages.
6. MAY 1998 - Issue # 41 - Front cover kinda dirty. I could try cleaning it with just a little rubbing alcohol. Other than that, this mag is in great condition.
7. DECEMBER 1999 - Slight residue from address label removal. Some minor imperfections, but other than that this mag in great condition.
8. APRIL 2000 - Some minor imperfections on the cover, but mag in good condition.
9. MAY 2000 - Some minor imperfections on the mag, but other than that the mag is in good condition.
10. MAY 2000 - This issue is basically identical to the other May 2000.
11. JUNE 2000 - Some minor imperfections on front and back. But mag in great condition.
12. JULY 2000 - Some minor imperfections, but mag is in good condition.
13. AUGUST 2000 - Mag has some minor imperfections and a tiny rip in the lower left corner of the cover. Otherwise the mag is in good condition.
14. SEPTEMBER 2000 - Mag has a small fold on the front cover in very left right corner. The back of the cover has some small tears. Some pages have some very small bent corners. Other than that, this mag is in solid condition.
15. SEPTEMBER 2000 - This mag has a address label on the cover, and some pages have some wrinkles and folds. Still in relatively decent condition. Very readable.
16. OCTOBER 2000 - This mag has some bends and some folds on the front cover. Pages have some bent corners. Pretty good condtion.
17. NOVEMBER 2000 - Some residue remains from where a address label was removed. Otherwise the mag is in good condition.
18. NOVEMBER 2000 - This mag has a major bend or fold in the middle of the front cover. The lower corners of the pages of the mag are bent with very minor water damage. Still in decent condition. Very readable.
19. DECEMBER 2000 - Other than some minor blemishes, this would be considered near mint.
20. DECEMBER 2000 - The front cover has a very small bend in the upper right corner. Alot of the pages also have a very small bend in the upper corner. Mag is in great condition other than that.
21. JANUARY 2001 - Mag has a pretty large fold on the front cover. Other than that large fold, this mag would be mint.
22. FEBRUARY 2001 - Other than some minor blemishes and some very small bent corners on some pages, this mag would be mint.
23. MARCH 2001 - The cover has a small tear on it, and it also has a address label on it. Some of the pages have bent corners at the very top. Other than that, in good condition.
24. APRIL 2001 - This mag has a little bit of water damage on the cover and on some of the pages. It doesn't affect the reading of the mag in anyway, but just to let you know. Otherwise in good condition.
25. MAY 2001 - The front and back of the cover is somewhat worn/weathered. Not really that bad, but somewhat. Pages look to be in good shape.
