I've seen most of these on another site, and they are in fact "Fake". The emulator these people use can force the framerate of a game down to 1/30, removing reaction time from the forumla that determines true talent.

Simply put, making these speed trials has become somewhat of an art form as of late... Once you get over the fact that technically they're not legitimate, they're still damned fun to watch. :) I've personally saved about twenty various ones on my computer. Quite entertaining.

I learned while watching them that they are fake. And I read about it. Its still really cool though. That one with the japanese guy and that music thing is awesome though. Same with the tetris one. The fake ones are still really fun to watch.

No, those are people actually doing it. The rest are people that do the roms and put all the clips they make togeher. Still hard and time consuming but its cool.

There's some pretty cool stuff on these sites. I watched that Zelda video on Bisqwit's page about a month ago, man is it ever crazy. Even with savestates, that performance had to have taken a considerable amount of work.
