I'm talking about the very first pictures of Joe Montana Football for the Sega Genesis. Before Joe Montana finally did get released.
Well, the game was totally different then the game that actually ended up coming out. It was a side scrolling football game more similar to Tecmo Bowl, then the overhead Joe Montana game that actually got released.
The game looked pretty incredible in those first pictures. The field looked really good, and the players looked really good too. It was a damn shame that this version got shelved for the version that we eventually ended up getting.
I wish I could find a old pic of this game and scan it onto my PC and then put it in my post so that you can see it.
