Since the guy that sells these for 75 bucks with 6 sealed games, and the others who sell the sets for 100-130, are these even that rare anymore? Most collectors probably have the 6 games and the enhancer.

It used to be SUPER rare. then some guy found boxes of them (or something like that) now it isn't to rare at all. they used to be worth way over $100, now if you spend over $100 you spent to much.

From a rarity perspective, it's still rare as hell. Less than 10k pieces puts it in the Quadrun category. Anyway, other than the specified sources, you'll rarely ever find it out in the wild.
From an availability perspective, it's dirt common, as stated.

I BIN'ed mine about three years ago for $125. Back then, new Aladdin sets were rarely listed on ebay and usually sold for $200+. Seeing these sets now sell for $70-$80 makes me wish I held out a little longer, but at least I didn't pay that much more for it.

Yeah I over paid for mine :embarrassed: But as stated previously there werent that many produced. Dont worry, that guy on ebay will run out eventually ;) And when he does, maybe a few years later they will become a rarity on ebay ? God knows I wont sell mine :P

OK...are any of those games actually good besides micro machines?

i got mine as part of a big lot so it was more or less free...yay me!
i think its one of those cases where the item is not rare but the scoop up factor is high. kinda like color dreams games, they're not rare but they get scooped up right away in the wild just because they look special.

Camerica had a great idea when they introduced the deck enhancer..
move all the common components of a cart into a deck device. The result is cheaper cost to make the carts (since they will only have ROMs of the actual game).
As far as the quality of the games.. I've seen a web site a while back that compares screenshots of games that came on their own vs the deck enhancer ones. In all cases, the deck enhancer version seemed cleaner and more rich. But the gameplay is identical.

So its kinda like the megamanx2 and x3? I bet megaman x2 and x3 are way more common but got for a lot more then just 1 aladdin game. I want those megaman games, they are so fun
