I am in the process of hooking up the computer to my room. Everything is finished, except for one thing. I can't host games on Battle Net for Warcraft III. I have been switching ports, and looking for everything on the internet but it just won't work. Can someone help?

Go to your router set-up and forward port 6112 to the IP address of your computer. Also see this page (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0445p).

Yeah, the thing is, I've done that, and it still didn't work.

Are you sure you're using the right IP address? If you have several computers/devices on your local network and are using DHCP to assign IP addresses, your IP address may change.

I'm pretty positive. Me being only 14, I don't know much about all this computer stuff, but I had one of my dad's business partners come over who's really good at this type of stuff. He couldn't get it.

If you want, you can give me the details of your network (router model, what you have connected to it, etc.) and I'll take a look at it. Also, be sure you open port 6112 on your computer's firewall (if you have one).
