Who Bought An XBox After The Recent Price Reduction?

I have to admit it...I never thought I'd get an XBox. It's not that I have anything against it, but with the GameCube and PS2, I figured I was set as far as current consoles go. But then a couple things happened at the same time...Microsoft cut the price (even if by a mere $30) and I found myself working 4 consecutive double-shifts at work. Figuring that gave me a bit of money to burn...and also that I deserved a little something for all that hard work, I finally broke down and bought one a week ago. I now have 6 games, getting two then and getting 4 others in the mail with the 6th arriving today. Here is my initial XBox library:

1. Amped--Free, came with the system.
2. Dead or Alive 3
3. Halo
4. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
5. Serious Sam
6. Top Spin

I actually didn't get the system hooked up until today so I've only tried a few games so far, DOA3 and Top Spin specifically...I lost my first tennis match in Top Spin but I have two built-in excuses...I was still learning the controls...and I was playing as Anna Kournikova who never wins. I like the game, though, as it looks and sounds great and I think (with just one match under my belt) that it also plays well. I only wish there were more tennis pros in it whose names I recognized...

Yeah, I bought one too. I work at a Best Buy and when the price dropped I picked on up. I already have a Gamecube, I still haven't purchased a PS2 yet, I figure I'm gonna wait to see if Sony reacts ti Microsofts price cut. I just don't pay more than $150 for a system, not since I bought a Dreamcast when those where still new.

The store you bought it from should be able to give you the difference--just bring them your receipt, and get your cash back! Simple solution. @_@

I got mine not to long after launch, and im now getting my second one... In case the first goes bad? I dont know. These are limited, but there are gonna be quite a few of them, so I dont think that the value is going to be all that high on them, farther down the road.

Nintendo does limited edition systems in the US.....they have for quite a while....

I definitily will get one eventually, but I'm kinda short on cash. I'd like to wait until It hits like $99-120 but I don't know how long it will take... but I can mooch off my friend's until then! LOL But if you do have an Xbox, you owe it to yourself to get PAnzer Dragoon Orta and Ninja Gaiden. Two best reasons to own an Xbox, IMO.

And why not??? The box says limited edition? How about the Platinum/Cobalt GBAsp that is also out? The limited edition TRU N64? The Limited Edition Black TRU GBA, or the red Target GBA? The many different Pokemon GBC/GBA's? How about the Target Limited GBAsp (in the green) The Pokemon N64.... The Tommy Hillfiger GBC? All of these were sold with the conotation of "Limited Edition" on the boxes (at least I think it was on all of the boxes, the Pikachu N64 might not have) So those arnt limited how???
