I was at a party the other night blabbing about old time games, and someone told me that they went to an arcade at the Jersey Shore that only had old-school arcade games. I can't for the life of me remember where or what it was called. I think they said it was in Seaside Heights, and it had a 80's flavored name - but I can't remember...
I searched the Yellow Pages and the Seaside Heights Tourism site (http://www.seasideheightstourism.com/amusements.jsp?type=AMUS), but didn't see anything.
Anyone have any ideas?

The Pavillion Arcade at Jenkison's has a ultracade machine which has updated versions of older games. As for Seaside Heights, I have no idea.

No, this person was talking about a full arcade (100 or so machines) that were all old-school. Not just one machine...
I would travel to go to an arcade like that. Somebody find the answer please! If this arcade does exist I wonder how much they charge per game.

Here's the arcade your looking for, I think:
Carousel Family Entertainment Center
22 Boardwalk at Dupont Ave.
Seaside Heights, NJ 08751
Phone: 732-793-7275
It's located on the south end of the boardwalk and has a section of the arcade that is mostly 80s and early '90s machines. They've moved the area within the arcade a couple of times but for the last couple of years it's been in the back right corner of the building. Last year there were a about 80+ machines including pins in there.

Ultracade's don't have updated versions...they have emulated versions of those games. It's all licensed, but the emulator seems to run the games a bit fast-a major issue with say, SF2 Turbo, which is fast enough to begin with.

Thanks, Mike... I will check it out!!! :D
I was at Dave and Busters last night, and played Joust on one of those Ultracade machines... Nice big monitors!! I was really surprised they didn't have too many old school video games.
