I just beat it for my second time on Hard and I have to say it kicked a lot of ass. Despite some camera problems and such, as well as being too short, the bosses were spectacular, and some of the parts later on were really cool. Anybody around here play the game? What'd you think of it?

I got about half way through it and then had to take a break for a few months. Tried picking it back up again, but its one of those kinds of games that if you don't play for a while - you're going to S-U-C-K. The controls being fairly complex I would say is one of the issues that contributes to that factor. The other being that navigating in three dimensional space is slightly difficult in the game, at least for me. I dunno, I'll pick it up again pretty soon, I have a seriously large back catalogue to finish first however. But yes, I loved the game - it looks great, plays great, and has a kickass soundtrack to boot. I absolutely LOVE the mech designs.

Heh, yeah, they were cool. I especially liked Zakat and Anubis.

Totally kick ass game. I got about halfway so far. I need to get back and beat it, but I need to start over...the skillz are missing now as stated above :D

Heh... suggestion. Play on Normal. Easy is a total snooze. And when in doubt, short-dash a lot.

My problem is that easy was way too easy, and normal seemed like if I won a battle, it was out of half skill and half pure luck. Playing the same scenario 6 times and then just HAPPENING to win the sixth time doesn't do it for me.

I think the controls just didn't agree with me. As everyone else said, I got about halfway through it, and then just stopped playing it.

Most of the problem there was enemies being able to guard. It threw the combat system way off balance.

Heh, my long-period of not playing came after spending an hour trying to figure out which crate Taper was in. But then I beat it a week ago.

Is the first one any good? I was toying with picking this up, but never got around to it.

I thought the first one was GREAT, albeit a little too short, and maybe a tad easy.

The second one, as I said, just too hard due to the luck factor on normal, and way too easy on easy.

love the game.. It's one of the few games people can come over and see me complete in 6 hours... Giving me mad gaming creds.

Yeah....I never play on easy...especially not on a game like that. What's the point? :D I didn't not like the controls....I just got to preoccupied and haven't picked it back up!
