I didn't know you could get these with pre-ordering the game. Dammit! I would have pre-ordered it. I don't suppose anyone knows a place where you could still get him? :/

every gamestop by me still have them to give away. Mines named Milkers. exact same one they gave away with the n64 one i think, or one of the other ones, i can't tell the difference between the 2.

The other was a PS2 Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland cow. The collar was a deeper pink and of course, the tag was different.

Drat. I woulda preordered too.

I gotta admit tho, as much as l like promos, that thing is pretty ugly. The cow beanie baby my girlfriend gave me as a joke when I was addicted to Harvest Moon 3 on GB looks much better.

Then I went and addicted HER to the game for making fun of me. 8-)

Our store got them, but one employee in particular decided to take BOTH of them. I wanted one too............. :(

I've got a small RPG plush collection. Mostly official plushies, I think UFO catchers are ugly. So I think the cow would look adorable alongside Jogurt, Nall, Vivi and Moogle.

That and I absolutely love the Harvest Moon series.

For some reason I was expecting to see a big standee-sized cow for use in a store. Not sure why... LOL

Anyhow, that's a pretty cute little deal there.

I'm pretty much going to stick to buying games well after release and getting promos when I please...cheaper that way. That said, it makes you realize exactly WHAT the preorder bonuses are for :)

That cow is actually pretty cool. The only promo stuff that I have are some boxes that I get from Gamestop. Other than that I'm promoless. :(

They had 2 cows, on the top self behind the counter. I asked abou tthem and hippie guy said that the promotion was over. I asked if i could buy them or get them any other way and he said sorry they were store decor.


and you just know he's like humping them when leave.

Actually, he's probably using them as footballs. That seems to be the most common use (abuse) of the Harvest Moon cows. When I started working at the local Gamestop in Cincinnati, after Save the Homeland was released, there was a lone reject cow no one had claimed. The employees enjoyed tossing him around and punting him like a football. I finally decided to kidnap it, to save it from such future horrors (in reality I begged the Store Manager at the time to let me have him....). I don't recall any cows coming in for the release of Friends of Mineral Town, but when A Wonderful Life cows came in, I kidnapped our two, to keep such tomfoolery from occurring again. Damn asshats.

Also, if you want to know the truth, you should have acted interested in reserving something. Then say, "well, I really want one of those cows, I'll reserve <insert random game here> if you give me a cow." Guaranteed he gives it to ya. If the hippie is anything like our SM, he'll offer you oral for a reserve to boost numbers...so one cow won't make him think twice.

yeah, those cows are now the property of ebay.....I sold mine and got 40.00! I would get them now while the quanity is still high.....down the road these will be EVIL to get. Just my 10 cents, I sold it only to pay for my recently acquired odyssey 2 multicart..........but that is another story :D
