To anyone who has or has played Disgaea:
I am borrowing the game from a friend, and it's wonderful. However, part way through the game, it's just stopped playing voices during the story sequences. I still get the voice samples in battles (for attacks and such), and music, sfx, and everything elses seem fine. However, Voices during the story sequences have cut out entirely. I've check the settings section, and sure enough, voices are at 2 just like everything else. Also, I seem to be able to get them to play on a friends PS2. Anyone have any idea what the hell's going on with this?
