Just got this quirky N64 game today finally. Haven't had alot of time yet to sit down with it yet except for a few minutes to test it. Looks decent so far. Anyone else have advice on it?

Beware of clunky controls while on foot.
As a pre-cursor to Grand Theft Auto, you will find many similarities in gameplay. This is a VERY hard game to defeat, and you might as well plan on spending at least 2-3 hours for each stage, not whole levels....but each stage...this game is enourmous, and you will spend lots of time driving back and forth, back and forth...and what drags it on is that the Aliens will respawn over and over causing you to stop and fight when it really shouldn't be necessary.
The real distraction of the game is the stuff that requires you to be on foot, like when you have to go thru tunnels and figure out puzzles...its just boring. The meat of the game is taking control of an old tank and laying waste to the Alien hordes.
-Good sound effects...piss poor overall graphics and explosions. I like the detail of the vehicles, but the rest of the game is bland as....bland. Early N64 effort, definitely worth a run through, but you may get bored later on, or just too frustrated to continue. I got too frustrated on the final stage of the final level...I never finished it, but I understand that there is an invincibility code somewhere.

Use the D-Pad up/down to switch weapons.
