Well, It took forever, thanks to my slow-arse computer, but I finally finished posting my collection on IGN. It's pretty darn big, and is the work of quite a few years, like 5 or so. So here:

Tell me what you think!

Please, for the love of everything on these forums, no "rate my collection threads!"

Are you happy with what you own? Then your collection is great, end of story.

A good collection you have there.

On a scale of 1-3 strips of bacon, I give it:

Out f curiousity, are you satisfied with IGN's servie? Because I became very dissatisfied with their colleciton listing system after a few months.

Every time somebody uses IGN over GameTZ (both are free) an angel's wings melt off :(

Though I certainly wouldn't want to detract from all the work you put into it! Wow, good list there. :D

What a beautiful genisis collection. But what's a collection without a saturn? Get on that bud! :D

IGN is ok, I started using it before I knew of GameTZ, if I had known of GameTZ I would have used that instead...but its too much work to transfer 1800 games over! :eek 2: Just never, ever, ever, ever, ever use tradegamesnow to keep track of your collection. Total BS.

Anyways, as for this collection here, I personally don't like "rate my collection" threads either. So on a scale of 1-1000 maggots, I give it this many...

hmm well to be honest with ya,

i dunno you're missing a lot systems and on the ones you do have none of them are all that complete. would your collection impress the average person, oh yeah, but does it impress compared to numerous ones here, not really. i mean, one intv game? some peope just focus on a system or genre but yours looks more less scattershot. of course it depends on your personal goals, budget and means of gathering games but based on the collections i've seen here its about a C-

Yeah, we all like bragging, hence the sig. But like gamereviewgod said, if you're happy with it why do you need others to rate it? His collection is pretty sweet but I'm not going to rate it with a serious scale type rating system...So I figured I'd post my joke rating which I still find quite humorous. LOL

I'll go with 3 and 2/3 Nimoys (out of eleventeen).

Damn, some of you are really harsh... If somebody has close to 900 games, I think that's very impressive no matter what you got. Who gives a crap if you're missing some consoles or aren't close to have a complete collection for any particular system. Hell, if you have a complete collection for any system, that pretty much means you have more shitty games for that system than good games. I'm personally way more impressed with a large collection consisting of the best games each console has to offer.

And as far as game collection pages go, I'd never use IGN. With all the obscure games I have and imports, I'm positive that they wouldn't have some in their database (plus I just plain hate IGN). I do it the old fashioned way. With my own site and HTML written by myself. That way I have complete control over it.

Ok FINE! His collection gets 17 drunken Snidermans out of a possible 18.

Omg, Portnoyd totally h4xx0red the format

I have a page (going to work on it this minute!) but I really don't trust myself enough to get all the names right...since a lot of my stuff is Japanese I pretty much must rely on other folks' romanization of titles and so on.

Nice collection, especially the Gameboy and Genny part.

You have a large collection. Though, I enjoy more personal sites that feature pictures and unique items that can't be found on IGN's list. I rate it: $17,706.86**

** IGN Gamestore value for available games

Great, so he should post pictures...not everybody has webspace for that!

As for "I don't like this topic" ...if you don't like it, move on! 'supposed to be a happy thread, not a "ew ick gtfomrr*" post :/

I wish I could take photos of my collection (though, if I showed them here, my collection would probably be called a piddly, crappy, newbie collection :/ ), but I have no digital camera, normal camera, or scanner to get any photos on my PC. :P Not to mention my collection is totally unpresentable. A quarter of it is on the west coast, while the rest is here on the east coast, and since I don't have any shelves or drawers, I'm stuck keeping nearly everything in boxes.

What makes you say that? I've never seen anyone here call someone's collection a "piddly, crappy, newbie collection." If I've missed it, feel free to direct me to the place of the alleged disparaging. :)
