I thought that I had a broken PP when it wouldn't work with my Famicom AV (With an NES cart convertor and World Class Track Meet). I made a deal with someone to get another PP, as I got mine from a local thrift for $1 and figured it could be bad. The guy I got the newer one from said his worked. It came today, and still it didn't register with WCTM or Street Cop. Befuzzled, I got out my toaster NES (Even though I hate if for not working properly with a new cart connector), stuck in Street Cop, plugged in the PP and BAM! It worked fine. So, do the Famicom AV and Toploading NES not work with the power pad?

And on a side note, sorry for asking, but I have to, how much should I ask for:
1. A complete copy of Street Cop with a box worn at the top and bottom
2. A complete copy of Tiny Toon Adventures Cartoon Workshop
I'm curious as they're both R5, but I don't know exactly how to gauge that.

Just tested my PowerPad with my Top Loader and everything worked fine. I testedwith Dance Aerobics. Every touch point seemed to work fine. Perhaps there is a problem with the controller port on your system?

I would say no more than 10.00 on either of those games.

I don't have a PP to test on my AV fami, sorry. :(

I don't know about the power pad but my Nes Arkanoid controller wouldn't work on my Famicom AV system(game worked though) I had to get the Japanese version of Arkanoid with controller(that fits into the serial port on the Famicom AV systems side)

Ok, so its sort of not on subject, but I've had my famicom for about 2 years now... and though I used to have one, and had the converter from japanese to north american RF's, I no longer. This is mainly because I got a famicom from my grand parents when they went to japan 12 years ago, but no one knows where it is any longer... that being said, I'd like to get my famicom up and running. Does anyone here know what it would take to make a jap-ntsc rf converter box? I've tried looking on the net, but there's nothing to be found from what I've seen, and Radio shack stopped carrying them long ago... hell Radio Shack stopped carrying manual switch boxes a long time ago... useless sods. Any help would be grand.
