Gamers in Canada?! PFFFF! You guys don't even have electricity yet! Unless you've somehow managed to run an extention cord from Wisconsin or something.

Winnipeg, MB over here.
And for your information, we have plenty of electricity here in Canada... we just have to make sure to cut little holes in our igloos to stick the power outlets in.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
During the summer, we have beaches on the north shore that rival any beach in Florida or California 8-). The only thing that's not so hot is the surfing conditions -- they're not all that great, unless you shortboard.
But after a long day of playing Street Fighter 2, Twin Cobra, or Arcade Snake, the beaches are quite welcoming. It's a great place to go and chill.
BTW, here is Arcade Snake:

New Brunswick. The one place people tend to forget when trying to name all the provinces.
Anyways, as far as electricity goes, Alberta actually exports the stuff to some western states such as California.

Hmmm...
actually, here in Ontario we have 3 different nuclear stations (with multiple reactors in each) as well as coal power, wind power and power from Niagra Falls.
We generate so much power, we sell most of it to NY state.
If it wasn't for the crappy US power grid, the blackout of 2003 would have never happened. I say Canada should cut the lines going down to the states, and lets see how long the north east would last in the dark. :D

I'm also in Edmonton and it's actually snowing pretty heavily right now. :)
It's good weather to get some gaming done.

I'm in Montreal.
And we didn't get affected by the power grid blowout of last year because Hydro-Quebec doesn't run on that grid...

Also live in that tiny town Marathon... hahaha. Go to school in Mississauga during the rest of the year (and sometimes spend some time in New Brunswick with some family...) I live all over Canada
PS Although I lived in Ontario, the blackout did not affect me whatsoever in Marathon.... stupid news reported that "ALL of Ontario was affected.... shows what they know bout geography... there is a Northern Ontario!
PPS: Melanie926 and I have known each other for years (nad are roomates as of next year). Two video game collections combined = one larger collection :D

Anyways, as far as electricity goes, Alberta actually exports the stuff to some western states such as California.
Manitoba exports a lot of power too... We have enough hydroelectric plants to generate FAR more power than we'll ever need. I think we actually export more than two thirds of the power we generate.
stupid news reported that "ALL of Ontario was affected.... shows what they know bout geography... there is a Northern Ontario!
At least they knew that Canada actually extended beyond Toronto's city limits, so they're already ahead of most of the politicians
