Was the genesis stereo?

I just picked up some av cables for my genesis 1.

it has a video and only one audio rca cable...so its not in stereo...

was genesis not in stereo...seems like it would have been, but i don't see any av cables that have the 3 rca.

The Genesis 1 has a headphone-style jack on the front-left, below the volume slider. You need to tap that for stereo sound. A quick trip to Radio Shack is all you need.

that would be a good option, if you pick up a 32X it comes with stereo out :)

yeah.. it looks like the Genesis Model 1 is not stereo out of the multipin.

you need a model 2, 32x, or nomad to have stereo out of multipin. Guess the headphone jack is the ticket.

When I bought my complete boxed 32X from a forum member, I was pleasently surprised when I found the Stereo AV cable in the box. It was nice of them to include it.

It should be noted that while the Genesis COULD be stereo, many if not a lot of the games aren't in stereo, and even among the ones that are you can't tell.
