Is it worth downloading? At least one person feels negatively. (http://www.cyhwuhx.com/metroid/archives/000708.html#comments)

That said, the fellow's comments about not feeling Samus was a "knight in shining armor" is interesting. The SA-X was lame. Orn would've been a much better rival, really.

Wow, this looks and feels like a SNES Rareware game.

I'm impressed, that's for sure. My hat's off to this guy.

The only thing I didn't care much for was that Hyra automatically transformed into a ball when I approached low ledges, like the one in the second room. *shrug*

Not bad for a one-man show. Pretty impressive actually- shame the fact that Zero Mission is out there already and overshadows it.

That's damn good; he should be proud of himself. I'm impressed that this was done as a school project, just as I'm impressed that his artistic skills are so advanced.

I'm really impressed at how closely the 3D models come to the original drawings. They look more natural, ore authentic than most 3D models in games.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this guy in the future. Some studio somewhere is bound to snatch him up. I wonder if he has any cool original ideas floating around?

Damn! I'm not a big Metroid player, but that's pretty cool.

I'd love to see more. I hate that my GBA Emulator is a little slow, but it was playing pretty good there. Very nice graphics. Rare meets Metroid.
