Cubivore $9.99 new at EB Games

Just a heads up to anyone looking for this game.

I just picked it up on my lunch break.

It's gotta be another print run. I've been seeing lots of them listed on Ebay lately for cheap. Makes me glad that I got rid of all my sealed Cubivores last summer when the prices were still high.

It's a great game and a total steal for $10. If you can find it at that price, don't hesitate to pick it up.

How large might the print run have been? Also, what EB was it? Lastly, you think other stores might suddenly have it?

Tomorrow I'm gonna do some calling. See if anyone has it. $10 is a freaking awesome price.

Is there any change in the case or disc? For collectors, it might not be a good idea. I'd like to make sure there's no difference between the original and the new one.

In other words, did they have a new batch that they sold out of, or are they going on experience? ("Oh, well, I haven't seen that one here in a while since like 2002.. So we are sold out.")

There is a very important difference.

Saw it, didn't buy it...EB seems to be clearing out a ton of stuff...all these are new prices.

New Legends - $2.99 (!!!)
Gun Valkyrie -$4.99 (got this one)
Robotech Battlecry $9.99 (I picked this one up as well...and they had a copy of the collector's edition for the same price!!)
Quantum Redshift - $4.99

Plus they had a rack of 49 cent PC titles...didn't have anything too great...but some good stuff...

When I called EB, I was told that Cubivore new is being discontinued from their system. Thus, the price for it is $9.99. Pre-owned copies are going for $19.99. After calling 4 stores, I couldn't locate either.

As a side note, I laughed when I read an EGM magazine that said that the blocky graphics in Cubivore make Animal Crossing look like Splinter Cell. LOL

Sold out as in just sold out this morning, but we might get one in since we are the main hub, but don't count on it.
