I picked up this old book called "Video Game Quest" at a garage sale and noticed it is'nt in the DP guide.
I hope this is where I need to post this.
It's a pretty cool book that give a short history of video games and then gives a rundown on games you gan get in a checklist form.

I will post more details if you all are interested. :)

Is there more info you can share with us? ISBN number, number of pages, author, publisher, number of color pages (if any)... those kinds of things?

Much obliged and nice find!

1st Chapter entitled "Past Present and Future" was written for DMS by Lou Kesten. Lou has been involved with video games for many years and is currently the associate editor for GAMES magazine (in 1990)

a really cool book that gives a rundown on games for the NES, SMS, GEN,TG-16,GB and LYNX organized by genre. There is also a section on hardware accesories for the various systems and a "game tracker" checklist in the back to check off each game in your collection. The last section is a listing of game companies and addresses so you can write them.

This is the book that I found this "omega" system that I started another thread on. Looks like at some point in 1990 someone was going to releas a fami-clone leagally here in the US. According to the book anyway....

Is the book list available online anywhere?

I guess not.

Oh well.

The reason I ask is because I was going through some old issues of Nintendo Power and Gamepro and came across a 64 page book I got from Kmart called "Nintendo Strategies: How to Win At..." and then a bunch of titles.
