Where is a good place on Digital Press for us bounty hunters to post offers?

For example, yesterday afternoon at the local thrift I saw Doom (N64, loose) and Mortal Kombat 4 (N64, loose) for $3 and an Atari 2600 with no accessories (console only) for $5. Whenever I see video game stuff like that that I don't have a need for, I always think, "I wonder if anyone on DP is looking for that stuff?"

The problem with making a long thread about it is as we all know store inventories change on a daily basis. What might have been there Friday may not be there Monday.

I dunno, what do you guys think about all of that?

(Note: they also had Tomb Raider for the N-Gage for $25, but I didn't mention that one ...)

if you see something that you think is a good deal you should buy it even if you don't want it and put it in your trade box. eventually you'll find someone who wants it. you could also post in the b&s forum to see if anyone wants it and THEN go back and pick it up before accepting their money, but that would kinda be a wasted trip IMO unless you don't mind going back.

Im running into the same problem as Flack. The local Indy shop I frequent is closing, and they've got a LOT of good stuff. The problem is getting the lists of it all. Hopefully they are making up a list or 2 for me with the NES and Genesis stuff, and if all goes well the other systems too. When I get those, Ill see about posting them, to try and hook up both DP'ers as well at the manager of the store who could really use the sales, as he's been getting the short end of the stick lately. My problem is posting them where? I want to do this more as a pick up whats needed, not buy it all and hope for the best.

Too bad we don't have a "GameTZ.com" sort of trading system here - maybe charge a yearly / monthly fee for using it to increase the bandwidth. GameTZ sort of makes it redundant, though...

I also have run into the same problem a lot recently.

Sometimes I only go out with limited funds, or, I don't want to buy an item that may sit in my trade box for years. I saw a ton of cool stuff recently on my trip to Clev.

I don't think the items you are using in your example are particularly desirable. In fact, I think you could offer those on Buying & Selling for the same prices and not even get a nibble.

There are certain games that I always buy as long as the price is reasonable. I picked up a complete Genesis Shadowrun yesterday. It is in my trade box now and I guarantee it won't still be there in a month. I have made good trades for Guardian Heroes three times. There are certain games that are always wanted, rare or not; SOTN, SI 91, Soul Calibur, any Final Fantasy, Paper Mario, any Panzer Dragoon, any Treasure game. Those are some of the games that I always pick up when I see them in the wild because I know someone will want them.
