http://www.digitpress.com/images/logo_3do.jpg</a>3DO MANIA: While wrapping up the 3DO section for our upcoming book, we decided to get busy with screen shots (http://www.digitpress.com/dpsightz/3do) since to date there isn't a reliable emulator for our beloved classic system. So we've gone a little screen-cap crazy and as a result have a gallery of nearly 600 3DO screens (http://www.digitpress.com/dpsightz/3do), including just about every US release and dozens upon dozens of import titles as well. If you ever wanted to explore the library of 3DO, this is a good start! Look for these screens in our online rarity guide as well.

I only posted this because the 3DO section was somewhat anemic. By the way, there are major efforts underway with PC Engine and NES so you'll be seeing much bigger galleries for those two soon!

Is screen 6 from Guardian War correct? I don't remember that part (haven't played it in a long time though).
Some intriguing shots from the imports there. How is that Autobahn game? Looks sort of like Ridgre Racer.

That's from the opening of the game - that's the goddess that brings your characters to life to fight evil. I never miss an opportunity to capture a hottie on my game screens. Take a look at Virtual Cameraman 2, Penthouse Interactive, Beverly Hills, and any of the Vivid releases for more examples :)

It's not bad, it *feels* more like Need for Speed than Ridge Racer, and the graphics are pretty utilitarian. Let's hook up the 3DO next weekend at NJ Classic! 8-)

It wasn't released in the states but TWO Wacky Races games were released in Japan. The first is mainly a gambling sim, the second is a 360-degree 2D action game. Pictures for both are in the gallery, you can also check the Rarity Guide (http://66.92.250.36:8080/DP/cmf/search.cmf) to get more info on them.

All of the screen shots come from my personal collection. I have a complete US library and about 70 import titles.
