Hello, I am in DESPERATE NEED of a working Sega Genesis (model 1, the one with the headphone jack and wider form factor). But thing is, I have a TV interview Wednesday and MUST have it by then. So basically it needs to arrive TuesdayI can pay for the shipping if anyone can offer it.
Also, the CPU type has to be a certain one. If you are interested please contact me via AIM (I am Epicenter713) or by e-mail (epicenter@adelphia.net) with the CPU type. Here is how to find it.
1. Turn the machine upside down.
2. Remove the 6 phillips screws.
3. Turn it back over and gently lift off the lid, careful of the 2 wires connecting it.
4. Look between the cartridge slot and the video/power jacks in the back. You should see a BIG rectangular black chip with a symbol on it and a series of alphanumerics with 68000 in it .. i.e.:
UQ68000P5
PH68WE000P12
The symbol should be either a weird little star in a circle or something like it, or an M in a circle .. or a large S.
Please make an offer. I'm willing to pay rather generously due to the unusual circumstances. Thanks. :)
