Now, this guy is a serious collector ... so I am guessing that he is right about the release info for this thing. But is it really worth $500 boxed, or is that just rubbish?

And did it really originally come in a box like the one there, or is he sneakily trying to get away without saying that it's been rehoused in a different box?

So I guess that a $500 complete eBay value isn't too far off the mark :eek 2: That box does look a little fishy though (although I'm no Nintendo expert)

Don't know if it worth the $500 but one thing is sure, Rodland is very rare, more rare than Stadium Event. I put it #2 behind the NWC 1900 without any doubt

castlevania4ever is full of shit. :D The last complete one up, he bought by the way, for $325. It is the absolute rarest retail game in the world however.

I wouldn't even count this as boxed, being as the box has been cut to fit a rental case!

It certainly didn't look like an original box by any means. And no, in collecting terms, I wouldn't count it as "boxed" either. However, in the very literal sense of the meanings of the words, it is technically 'boxed' I guess.

And sadly, despite his being full of bullshit, the stuff he sells often seems to go for ludicrous amounts of money. I am sure I remember seeing a PAL Panzer Dragoon Saga that he sold a year or so back going for some insane sum of money.

Well it definitely is in the top 3 hardest games to find. But it is definitely THE hardest retail game to find as dave said.

I beg to differ about Rodland being the rarest PAL game. There is no doubt in my mind that Mr Gimmick is the hardest NES game to find. I spent weeks looking EVERYWHERE to find that damn game. Luckily I found a guy in Sweden who had it posted for sale since OCTOBER of LAST YEAR and emailed him and he had it!!!

Rodland is much more common that Gimmick, I know some people who took years to find a copy of that damn game...


It is too bad I am banned from the ol DP for some childish acting on my part... or well I will probably get my bro's name banned but oh well

Hey dude.. anyone who was on NW while you were looking saw what you went through. I'm not saying Mr. Gimmick isn't hard - it's damn tough, right up there, even above NTSC Stadium Events. But I still think Rodland's a harder find overall.
