This afternoon, I traded in World Tour Soccer 2005 (PS2) for a new copy of Skies of Arcadia: Legends (GC) at Gamestop.

I've got nothing else yet. I just wanted to be the first one to start the thread this week.

I know this isn't a contest, but I HATE being ignored. :angry:

found a loose intv world series major league baseball for $.99, which is $.49 more than i paid for the the other one i found years ago. damn inflation...

found the tennis, vol. 26, world stadium ex, minna no golf and dx okuman chouja-the money battle (in a hyper formation soccer case) for japanese playstation. don't necessarily have anything to play them on, but couldn't pass them up for $1 each.

Radioshack Stuff I didn't know existed. O_o

N64 Memory Card $1.97
TremorPak Plus $1.97

Vibration Action YAY!

Plus I saw my first famiclone being sold here. Some N64 look alike with a gun and I saw it running contra, spy hunter, and smb. I asked the guy how much for them (they had like 50 at the little kiosk) $40 bucks each! :O

Then I started talking loudly about how these things are pirated and illegal then took a picture and left. Boy was that guy ever nervous!! :D

(With apologies to Jose for stepping on his thread)

Taking a week off to collect seashells on the beaches of Sanibel seems to have allowed my local collecting spots a chance to recharge...found today

At Goodwill, next to the $4.99 Genny Sonics, complete for $1.99 each;

SNES Arcana
SNES Best of the Best
SNES Gradius III
SNES Romance of the 3 Kingdoms II
SNES Super Castlevania IV
SNES Super Smash TV
SNES Y's III

At a Used Game shop;

Genesis Aerobiz (loose) .99
Genesis P.T.O. (complete) $3.99

At a DVD/CD/Game store;

8 complete N64 games that went for between .99 and $2.99....all sports, the worst being Quarterback Club 98, the best being Nascar 98...nothing great, but hard to argue with 8 complete N64 games for 14 bucks!

Got Chew Man Fu and R-Type for the TG16 for ten a pop. Not a spectacular deal, but it doubles the size of my TG16 collection.

I saw a guy selling those around a mall I go to around the Christmas season. Had a few good games, but there were ltos of doubles. I did the same thing, talking bout how they were illegal. Then I played it for an hour or 2 (needed to kill time). Good times, I think he sold them for 20 each.

Nice finds today...

Maybe it was the heat, but I went nuts on the finds today:

Target
Klonoa: Empire of Dreams (GBA, new) - $14.99
Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (PS1, new) - $4.98

Blockbuster
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1, GH new) - $14.99

KB Toys
ASCII Grip One-Handed Controlller (PS1, new) - $3.99
Nyko Classic TrackBall (PS1, new) - $5.99

Movietime
Mischief Makers (N64, complete) - $7.99
Tom & Jerry: Fists of Furry (N64, complete) - $7.99
Flying Dragon (N64, box and cart) - free

I'd been looking hard for Castlevania, Mischief Makers, and Klonoa, so I'm happy to have those.

At KB, there was also a PS1 mouse set, but it was still $20, so I left it.

Heroes of the Lance, boxed for SMS - about $7 or so shipped (not released in the U.S., had it shipped from England - listed as an R5 in the guide)

I was quite pleased with myself yesterday (good wufners! good boy!) In addition to finding a handful of 2600 games I didn't have (mostly commons,) I also found a complete in box "The Great Wall Street Hunt" for the Odyssey 2! At first I thought $7.99 was too much to pay but I caved anyway. It appears to have all the pieces and to have only have been played once. Pretty nice! Now if I can only get an actual Odyssey 2 . . .

By the way, I returned to the same Goodwill today to see if I had overlooked an Odyssey 2. While I didn't find one of those, I did stumble across a Donkey Kong Game and Watch handheld for $1.99. The clasp in the front was broken and there were no batteries to test it but otherwise it looked pretty nice. What d'ya think? Would that have been worth picking up?

YESTERDAY I went to the mystical TIGER ROOM which is a front for St. Philip's Catholic school. There was a $10 Commodore 64 in rather good shape but with some scratches evident along the top of the unit (above the keys, on that blank space) and without ANY hookups. It also was very dusty!

I also noticed a Philips AOL WebTV, for $40! I passed it up as well.

I talked a bit with one of the ladies who worked there and that was quite pleasant. However, I didn't see anything I wanted to buy.

Now I know what is in the mystical Tiger Room! I also will not be back again soon.

Back to Goodwill! D:
