Dumb Question...

Okay, this may be a really dumb question, but I have no other recourse...

I have hooked up my Sega CD but it refuses to work...what am I doing wrong? The Genesis turns on, but the indicator on the CD doesn't. I have separate power cords but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I purchased it second hand but don't have a manual to consult...HELP ME!!!

99 % of the time it is a blown fuse on the Main Board.

People try to hook up a Nes adapter and blow the fuse.

Look in the Restoration Forum . There is a recent thread there about fixing the Sega Cd fuse. It's pretty easy.

That's probably what happened...I didn't get hookups with it, so (not knowing any better) I used an nes adaptor...is there any compatable hookups I may have handy? Or do I have to track down some extras (y'know, after I repair the fuse...)
