Hey, I have what is probably an extremely annoying/obvious question to most of you, but I'm asking for your kindness. I played Metal Slug 3 today at an arcade for the 1st time. (It was the 1st Neo Geo or Metal Slug game I've ever played) I was mesmerized by it.

I am wondering if there is a way to emulate NeoGeo on Dreamcast. I didn't see a NeoGeo emu on dcemulation.com.

If there isn't one, can I get a MAME emulator and play MS3 on it? If so, what MAME emulator works well with this game on the Dreamcast.

I have experience with NES/SNES/SMS emu on the DC, but none with MAME. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

The dreamcast only has I believe (dont quote me) 16mb of onboard ram. This would never be enough to hold large Neo-Geo games...and even if the memory count were larger...they would run like a dog. So, no, you won't be able to play it on the DC. For the home however, you can...sort of. Mame doesn't allow games younger than a year or two old to be emulated, although you may see MS3 in the next version of Mame (time is up for it, no?) Or you can simply modify the Mame source to add MS3 yourself. Just make sure you don't distribute that modded source or binary, since it is against the rules.
