I know a lot of people have been talking about this and about 1/2 of the people here figured it was just a decal.

Well, in EB today I overheard there Nintendo rep say specifically that it would be embossed onto the system and not just a decal. I almost snagged a little info on the DS for you all too but then some pitiful store clerk started bugging me about Gamecube games obviously just to impress there rep.

So yeah, that's all....just figured I'd share the news!

i figured it wasn't going to be a decal. Like the contest versin of the Famicom SP. Exactly the same idea, follows the controller for both of them also. Cant wait for this bad boy.

And about the Dual Screen. I think that thing is gunna suck. It is just a terrible idea.

Really? Who thought it would be a decal? If it was, that would be the stupidest thing Nintendo has done in a while. I've always expected it to be a more permanent thing. But then again, stranger things have happened :P

Heh, I always thought not including a headphone jack was a good thing ;)

I'm surprised that people thought it'd just be a cheap decal, but I saw those posts as well, guess nobody trusts Nintendo as far as they can throw Bowser these days...

But, yeah. I, for one, did not expect a decal. We've all seen the pics. It doesn't look like a decal. In fact, the entire face of the NES SP (or is that SP NES?) looks cast out of a different mold.

Anyways, pull the old thread up about this, I'm not sure of what it was...there was lots of people thinking it would be just a decal. i tried to find it without any luck.

Anyhow, I want black ribs on the top damn it. I think we all knew it wasn't going to be a decal, just compared it to as much becuase it is a cheap-o milking attempt.

I'm still not interested in the neSP. Yes, it's awesome. But I dont need a third GBA. Especially b/c the DS is coming out. portable gaming is about to get really good again. the GBA is sinking a little bit and the DS & PSP will make some necessary waves.

It's been a while since I saw it, but I had the impression the picture of the NES edition GBA in the GameStop flyer was simply a render. Looked a little too clean to be a photograph.

This will be my 4th GBA. ANd yes, I am definatly getting it. I do wish the top had the ribs though, then it would be nuts.

I don't understand the sticker thing. Who would expect that from Nintendo? I expected something like what is on the original NES controller...

I'm not a fan of the look. If I had a spare $100, I'd get it.

Anyone know what the box will look like yet? THAT'S what I'm interested in! I love cool packaging. The Famicom SP had a neat SMB style package. I've heard from a mockup that.. heard from a mockup? Did I say that? I've SEEN a mock-up that had the box in the style of the old NES boxes. But of course, it still has the damn "Game Boy" badge down the side like their stupid NES games that totally take from the cool factor. (The Japanese ones didn't have that! What gives? Stupid damn US!)

I eagerly await E3.
