Ive been at it for about 2 months now but only have around 95 (55 of which are complete) all the rest are carts and boxs. I will try to find the blockbuster cart but i'm not gonna look for Outback Joey since it is a proto and it wasn't exaclty released. I have had a difficult time finding a copy of John Madden 93 Championship Edition and a complete Spiritual Warfare and of course the blockbuster cart, and i just won a complete copy of Joshua off ebay so that games out of the way now. Did the Game Factory or Blockbuster carts have boxs or manuals or are they carts only?

I wish. I find Genesis collecting a bit harder than collecting for systems like NES and SNES. I don't come across nearly as many Genesis games as I do for other systems, and most of the time I see the same common games and sports games over and over.

A complete U.S collection or does he have all the imports? I'm going for a complete U.S collection.

DP, Darth Vader, and classicgamesdepot have complete collections minus the Blockbuster Competition II cart. I think DV and CGD are close, but not 100% on boxes and manuals. DP is.
I need 5 more games, 13 more boxes. I didn't bother with manuals, but I will if I can find manual lots on eBay. I have the Blockbuster Comp cart.
Outback Joey isn't really considered since no one is sure if it was released or not. People who have it here are myself, D_N_G, Tom Keller, and qbertandernie. Ralph Baer also has one.
An import collection... you mean all unreleased in the US games or EVERY game released outside the US? On both, I'm fairly sure that's a negative.

I have about 50+ Mega Drives games (Genesis in your case). eBay is usually the only place for me to get them, which I don't really like using too much. About all I can find around here in the shops is sports games and sometimes, I'll find the odd good find.
Most of the time, they're usually just a cart in bad condition at a cheap price, but I'd still buy it, instead of paying 7 times more for it on eBay. Still find some good condition carts, but they're like £5 each and often common ones, so eBay does have its ups sometimes.
Hell, I even found a Mega Drive WITH a Mega CD, 2 games and controller for £6, so sometimes you get lucky. LOL
I hope I find a 32X in a junk shop some day. :)

Yeah, I'm getting near the end of having that one complete.
1 game(blockbuster), 7 boxes and 160 manuals
I'm actually closer on my SNES though.
1 game (DK comp cart), 18 boxes and 68 manuals.
If anyone has spare genesis manuals (and I mean big lots of them), I'll gladly take them off your hands.
Time for a new challenge though, the 2600 and SMS look like a good bet for now. :)

I know this is a genesis thread, but can't help saying good luck and how awesome that is on your SNES collection! I have never heard of or seen anyone with a complete snes collection.

You know, this is the second time in as many days I have heard of Outback Joey. I never heard of it before. Does anyone know where I can find more info about this? And Ralph Baer has one? How is that? I didn't know he was even a game collector.

Ralph got a complete setup from the company to evaluate. He had never taken it out of the box before he showed it to Lenny Herman and myself a number of years ago. I borrowed it from him and sent it back to him a little over a year ago after taking pictures of the custom Genesis and all the parts it came with. Now if I can just find where I stored the picts...

From my point of view, a Outback Joey cart is not needed to have a complete U.S collection since it was never exaclty released and is mainLY in proto form from what i've been told. But if i ever do obtain one than it would just be a nice bonus that i didn't have planned. But for those of you who do have it, PARTY ON!
