I have to brag. I did great today.

at a thrift I usually don't go to
I found Guardian Heroes for Saturn $5
I found a neighborhood with a 67 family sale
too bad I wasn't there on friday when it started
I found and import virtua fighter 3tb japanese import for DC $5
best of all 9 issues of ATARI AGE 82/83 magazine issues for 10 cents each
at a game store I found Final Fantasy X 2 Guide for $2.99

I had such a fun day today.

Oh, I thought you were going to say that game companies started making 2D platformers again! Now that'd be the end of a dry spell. No matter..!

Good finds, I would be VERY happy to find Guardian Heroes for the Saturn myself. Those don't really seem like thrift prices (too high) but they sure aren't a gamer's prices. :P

Nice, nice finds (though I'd have put it in the Weekend Finds spot myself). Congrats man. Now here's to hoping I can end my personal dry spell...dusty C64s aside...

Hear, hear! I find myself of one accord with the Oscuro on that one.

Decent finds!
As always, when I go to thrift, I find just a bunch of bullshit. Then I'll find more bullshit. That's really all at the thrift's around here.
Can't wait for better weather so I can hit the flea's.

There was a huge city wide garage sale here too.

NOT A DAMN THING TO BE FOUND!

It was just a little depressing :(

Last year, before I started collecting, I would find and pass up some pretty nice stuff at Value Village and Goodwill, stuff that would be pretty nice to own now. I hope I made somebody really happy because I passed those up for them to find. :frustrated:

Since I've started collecting, every thrift I hit is pretty dry, or has overpriced stuff. But to be fair, I haven't visited thrift stores as often as I should.

Good find!

I went to a mega sale yesterday (over 100 vendors) and came back with.....absolutely nothing. And I even had to pay a dollar to get in the door.

I *Never* have this kind of luck! It's unfair beyond belief. I visit used games stores and they have copies of common poor MegaDrive sports titles for $15 with no box or manual, torn labels and coffee stains, and not a single title I'd want to buy. I try pawn shops and everyone has big pretty guns, ancient TVs, more TVs, 2 N64 games, did I mention the TVs? Hey look over there, TVs! And garage sales around here never yield anything even REMOTELY interesting.

It's depressing. I have to get everything on eBay. :( I've NEVER had a 'find'. Ever..
