Just for clarification, walkthrough is often a full spoiler of a game. Well, do you use it and if so, how often?

Walkthrough could be in form including magazine info (ie Nintendo Power), $20 game guide, or free guide on the internet like www.gamefaqs.com

I only use em on a part where I get stuck or miss what to do next. I never read ahead in the stories and I try to avoid as many spoilers as possible.

I use them on RPG's for one reason: I HATE TO MISS STUFF! I hate it when I go through a game and I don't find all the secret stuff because I don't have time to go through it again. But I limit myself to only looking at the "Secrets" sections.

i use them if i get stuck in a game and don't want to spend a whole lot of time figuring it out.

Yes I use them if I've been wandring around for 10-20 minutes with no clue what to do next.

I only use them if I get truly stuck on a game...

I have only used 4 walkthroughs ever...

Luigi's Mansion (used on one area)
Super Monkey Ball (now completed)
Tomy Hawk Pro Sketer 3 ( I got stuck, and couldn't figure out how to do some of the goals, still haven't been able to complete the game...my skill isn't good enough to get some of the goals...)

and now Super Monkey Ball 2. I only used it on 2 levels so far, I figure 45 minutes is long enough to try to pass one level :(

RPG'S is when I use strategy guides so I can find everything easier. For me it enhances the game.

How else can you find the +5 crystal sword of dragon slaying?

RPGs mostly for me, especially when stuck looking for something important.
