My family is going to Charleston, WV next weekend and I was wondering if there were any game-related things that I should check out there... last year, my dad and I went to some flea markets. Are there any game stores there (like locally-owned, not chains)?

downfall might be able to help you out there. He works in Charleston and is a bit more familiar with it.
I happened to find my Vectrex out at the Capital Flea Market near the Yeager airport. I know there is a few Gamestops between the Town Center Mall and the Southridge Center. Throw in a couple Goodwills and you should be set. I don't know of any small game stores, though
Also, if you come down another 25 min. towards Huntington, there is a huge indoor flea market in Milton. I could give ya the nickle tour if you want. What brings ya to Charleston?

Yep, I knew there was something I didn't like about you! :P
Anyway, bdc hit most of everything, but I'll PM you some directions and so forth. Here's a rough count from the top of my head of everything within about a 20-25 minute radius of where I work in Charleston:
3 Gamestops
2 Salvation Armies
2 Goodwills
2 Flea Markets (Fri. Sat. Sun.)
2 Pawn Shops

It'd take the whole day, but if you go down towards Huntington, then you have the following:
4 Goodwills
1 Salvation Army
2 Gamestops (one is a Babbage's)
1 EB
1 Flea Market * (as bdc mentioned)
*duh.. EDIT.. there's another flea market in Huntington as well. One guy has a TON of video game stuff (several hundred NES games, hundred or two Atari games, etc.), but his prices=@_@ Ten bucks a pop for NES games, and I couldn't talk him down any (and that's for everything, SMB/DH too). Only things he had there that I really wanted were a copy of Super Dodge Ball, and some copies of Mega Man III. But, for $10 each, they're still there.
Anyway, if you guys are up for it (if it's even possible), I'm sure we could all get together and hang out.. hit up all these places. If not, then I can PM you some directions to the ones that I can get decent directions for. This stuff is scattered all about down here.
Also, I know that might sound like quite a few places to go, and I'm not saying this because I live here LOL but most of these places are fairly dry 9 times out of 10 (that's coming from me going almost 5 days a week to the ones in Charleston). Mostly dirt common stuff and the prices usually aren't stellar. There are other people here that aren't collectors; I think they are mostly ebay vultures, but they snatch up anything that you leave behind, common or not.
But anyway, hope you have a good time if we all can't get together!
