The topic says it all. :)

What are the best arcade sticks to get for those systems? Is the Virtua Stick for the Saturn a satisfactory one?

I am getting an X-Arcade for the PSOne/DC/XBOx/PC side so that's covered. Also got a Namco Stick in the mail for the PSOne too. :)

Thanks for your help

I don't believe an arcade stick was ever made for the N64. Maybe I'm wrong? :embarrassed:

not sure about N64 but for Saturn I prefer Hori Fighting stick.
Its enclosure is made of steel and I like the feel of its button and the stick.

at $9 a pop it's steal!

cheers

dont think N64 ever had one, there really wasnt any fighters or 2D sidescrollers or anything, but the saturns Hori fighting stick kicks ass, and for those mech games like virtua on dont forget the twin sticks ^_~

not so long ago there was a seller on eBay selling Hori fighting stick for 9.99 with three titles.
not sure he's still selling it at that price though...
even on Yahoo Japan Hori fighting stick alone fetches more than $9.

cheers

The N64 did have an arcade-like stick. Forgive the small image, but this is what I remember seeing, the Interact ArcadeShark 64. There's another one out there too, but the name escapes me at the moment.

That Arcadeshark is one of the worst sticks I've ever used. I'd rather use an analog stick than that thing.

I have 2 of the Mad Catz version of the one Oobgarm posted. I picked them up at KB Toys for like, $3 each (can't recollect exactly how much). They're in storage in another part of the state, though, so I don't have any pics. One side has the ball joystick and the other side has a flight stick. It's fun for games like Pokemon Puzzle League, though.

True, you wouldn't want to use it to play Goldeneye or anything, but I like it for Namco museum. I especially like that you can move the stick to the center...I prefer to play Ms. Pacman right handed. Don't think I've ever tried it with another game. IMO sticks are for Street Fighter which is sadly missing in that library.

I like the Virtua Stick for VF but you will want something a little looser for Street Fighter and co. I recommend the ASCII stick.

Not to be a smartass, but I"m honestly curious. What do you want an arcade stick for the N64 for?

The Hori for Saturn is good. I got mine for $5 at EB ages ago. I doubt you'll find one there now, but you never know.

The one by MadCatz is call the Dual Arcade Joy Stick with rumble. I picked one of these up at Games Stop not too long ago for $2.50. I pretty much got what I paid for it.

That would be the one, and your description, though brief, is right on the money.

Captain Wrong: That's simple. I just got Killer Instinct Gold and Clayfighter 63 1/3. Since they are fighting games and I like playing fighting games with an arcade stick, I was just curious to know if the N64 had one and get it.

I figured not too much of those were done for the N64. I just didn't see myself play with the analog stick on the standard controller. :)

Thank you all for the help. I think I'll hunt down that Hori stick for the Saturn :)

Exactly. I was so pumped when I seen that stick at a flea market and rushed home for some KI goodness. My god that was a waste of $5....

ASCII stick is the best stick for saturn.
