Haven't been around in a while, and maybe this has been seen before, but anyway...
The rare, unreleased "WTC" edition of Project Gotham Racing. :o

I suppose PGR's original release date might have been in the window for this to make sense, but something doesn't seem right about the label.
You tell me if I'm an idiot or not - go ahead, not like I haven't heard it before. LOL
EDIT: The fact that such a "rare" item has a Buy It Now option also makes me wonder. Slightly.

The seller is in fact correct when they tell you the cover was changed after 9/11. The only catch is that the Xbox wasn't released until two months afterward, so there were no copies with the WTC cover that made it to retail. If you'll look at the bottom left corner of the case you'll see the "FOR DISPLAY ONLY" disclaimer in a green box. The game in the case is an off-the-shelf version of the game. Cover is real, though, as I've got a couple of them myself.
Interesting side note:
The DOA 3 cover art was also changed before launch, but not due to 9/11.

One of the gaming websites I saw a complete list of ALL the games that were affected in ANY way by the events of 9/11 -- from being canceled all together to just very minor chnages made to the box art. I wish I could recall where I saw that again. :(

this guy just switched the original insert with a store display copy of the insert and is trying to sell it as a rare item

Halo's was also changed. From a T rating to a M rating.

They had a couple variations for display purposes. While my boyfriend worked at FYE he snaged like all 3 (i think it was 3) and keeps them in his normal DOA 3 box. Sure they're not official but they look pretty nice.

Which is kinda what I figured, but is it $25 worth (or $30) of "rare"? I somehow doubt it.
