I'm wondering if anyone is collecting this handheld. Please hold the "Game.com sucks posts" as I already am aware of this fact. I am just wondering if anyone is collecting it. If you do collect it what console do you have? (Original, Pro, Pro Backlight). What is the most rare game? Did anyone ever get online with this thing? When did internet support for this die? Any info on this system is appreciated as what I can find on the Internet is scarce and not in depth.
I would like to find a Pro Backlight but I am having trouble. After two month ebay finally has a listing for a Pro but I don't know if I should go for it or hold out for the Pro Backlight..comments appreciated.

I was always under the impression that the Pro was backlit...
I still collect for it, even though I don't really like it. Well, ok, I do like Lights Out. But that's it. I rarely see games in the wild, and when I do, I tend not to buy them unless if they're <$1. I'm just cheap that way :)

Yup, and I've got the entire collection (besides the modem and the Web Link kits) All 3 versions an the 18 or so games.
The hardest game to find is Wheel of Fortune 2, followed by either Quiz Wiz or Henry!
As for the Pro vs. Pro Backlight....are you going to play it long enough to matter? Either one of them rarely come up anymore, but backlight is by far more uncommon. A few years ago you could buy the Pro in bulk, but now...I just don't know what happened. The light basically looks like some baby-food peas became radioactive and lit up the screen.

Yep, I've got the whole collection too, pretty easy to find. I have one sealed game all the manuals for the rest one standard unit and the backlit pro, power supply carrying bag, link cables and more all I need is the netlink stuff.

I DO!
Anyways, I have the original system, boxed. I have the Web Link, The Internet kit, and all 20 games released for it. And I'm proud to say so! The Pro & The Pro Backlit aren't my top priority now so Im gonna hold off on em.
Anyways, as for rarest games, Wheel Of Fortune 2 is a bitch to find, and Monopoly comes in second. If I had to pick a 3rd it would be Henry. Other than that the games are cheap and easy to come by, on eBay at least, which would be about your only option to complete this collection....cause I've never once seen a game.com game in the wild.
Better pick em up fast before Hot Topic starte carrying shirts that have Lights Out & Henry! style pictures on them in Game.com style fashion and the prices raise by 500%. :o Sad thing is, I bet Hot Topic has the power to do this.

I would if I could find a game.com for less then a billion dollars locally. I can't say I'm interested enough in it to get one online.
I got game.com, and official MODEM !!!! (boxed), Web Link, Internet Cartridge and 15 games.
Five more games to go.

I just need Wheel 2. Everything is still sealed, except for Quiz Whiz, and everything will stay that way. Yeech.

Does anyone know how far they got in completing the version of Castlevania: SOTN for Game.com? That was one game that I was interested to see on the system, but was it ever close to completion? Are there any screenshots floating around?

Would someone with a Game.com mind capturing photos or maybe video of the Sonic Jam title running on the Game.com? I'd love to feature it and any other games in that format on my site. The screenshots officially released are just Black and White edited screenshots jacked from the MegaDrive. ;)
Thx. Please contact me on AIM (Epicenter713), via E-mail (epicenter@adelphia.net) or PM (please avoid if you can. I always forget to check those.)

Ugh... you don't want video of Sonic Jam. The screen moves way too fast and just causes the entire thing to blur horribly, so any video you get will likely be unwatchable. The game itself is essentially unplayable. Seriously. I can't believe they released it the way it is.
As for collecting the Game.com... I guess I'll have to raise my hand here. I only have the standard 8 games that are always on eBay with the system, but I plan to eventually get them all. I think I collect it more out of morbid curiousity rather than actual enjoyment.

I own an original game.com with 6-8 games. I think mine needs new batteries, because it doesn't turn on, but then again, the last time I turned it on was years ago. games besides ones like puzzle games and crap like that are near unplayable. lost world sucks balls, because it is hard to tell what you are doing when things get hectic.
