Very Odd... Seller Shipped and Left feed back before I Paid

His auction says exact shipping costs so I emailed him my address so he could send me my final total. He never did. It's been a week and I keep emailing him with no reply. So of course I was surprised today when I go to the mail box and find a package addressed from him sitting in it. o.O

Games mint I have no complaints. So I double check my feedback and sure enough he's left me a positive. Double checked Paypal and nope... haven't paid him.

I'm going to go ahead and take the total shipping straight from the package and add it to the final bid but this it just odd.

Perhaps he thought that you DID pay? Or something happened in real life that threw him out of whack that he got confused? Or he took a bunch of stuff to the PO one day assuming that you'd pay that day?

Who knows? Maybe he was just in love with you. ;)

Had this happen as well, except the guy hadn't left feedback yet, and I have to admit for a second the thought crossed my mind that I now had the item and the worst the guy could do to me was negative feedback. Of course that's just my dark side peeking out, I did pay him and left positive feedback as the item deserved.

Well he did want Paypal fees but I didn't know how much those were and I figure he's lucky I paid him at all. :evil:

I wouldn't feel right ripping the guy off though. I try to be a little more honest then that. :P

I've actually done ths before my self acidently (shipped a package and left feedback for a bidder who hadn't paid yet) I basically confused two transactions and thought that the guy already paid when he really didn't. All worked out well though as he eventually paid and left feedback stating that it arrived so quickly that I I had to have shipped before he paid for the item. Its nice to know that there are still some honest people out there.

Haha, I had that happen to me once. Luckily, I forgot to pay, too! Hehe. I left him positive anyway, taunting him for letting me not pay. Hehe.

Kinda genaric with a battle system similar to Ultima Exodus (NES). Script was well written from what I can remember. I actually love the game, but I can see where others might not. Never hurts to try out the rom though and judge for yourself.

I had that happen to with a US ebayer (i'm in the UK) I won the auction and about 12 days later the items showed up i was puzzled at first.. she had also left feedback, and the good guy that i am, i e-mailed her and told her of her little mistake, but she said it wasn't a mistake, i had good feedback and she thought she could trust me, i paid after that e-mail...

She was very nice and pleasant (well through her e-mails atleast) and so i had no problem in sending payment, i did mention that in the future maybe she should wait for payment.. (But in the long run it's up to her, :roll: )
